 Togetherness

We believe that mankind was created to live in harmony with one another and with God, to rejoice in one another’s triumphs and accomplishments and to weep in each other’s trials and tragedies. To recognize the God “value” in all mankind this stirs us to serve one another in love. (Acts 4:32a)

 

 

Outwardness

We believe that Jesus the Christ established His church to fulfill an external mission. Our connection to Christ compels us to influence the world on His behalf, and attempt to bring the world into a saving relationship with Him, through the sharing of the “Good News”. Our connection to Christ also compels us to meet the immediate needs of the community by identifying societies downtrodden, as Jesus did, and demonstrating  Christ’s love to them, through compassionate care. (Matthew 28:19-20 & 25:35-36)

 

Upwardness

We believe that a complete life is one lived with a reverence for God. Worship is as essential to life as the air we breathe. God’s loving presence should be acknowledged in all that we are and in all that we do. (Matthew 22:37-38)

 

 

Creativeness

We believe that God is the creator of all things and therefore is the giver of creativity. All people have a creative side (special gifts) that needs to be identified, nurtured and developed. When fostered successfully, these gifts will assist in reaching non-believers. (Isaiah 41:20) 

 

 

Holiness

We believe that mankind’s goal in life should be to strive to become whole. We believe wholeness can only be obtained by becoming holy, set apart from the world, godly. By applying God’s word to our lives and seeking to incorporate Christ-like principles in all aspects of our lives, we become holy.  (1 Peter 1:13-16)
